This blue runner combo features a 60 size spinning reel matched with a 8 2 piece big game ready fiberglass rod with aluminum oxide dynaflow guides and an extended eva handle to support heavy lifting. Can t beat this rod for the price. The attachment to the rod is too thin and long it breaks easily there. Recently purchased a couple of 7 foot rods and these 2 quantum blue runner reels i purchased are perfect for the type of fishing i plan on doing.

Blue runner rods feature a 2 piece big game ready fiberglass blank with aluminum oxide dynaflow guides and an extended handle to support heavy lifting. It broke off my rod when i caught a 10 pound fish. I was very happy with this rod.
