Purple Live Rock Turning White

I have 55g tank with 75lbs of live rock with nova extreme t 5 fixtures w lunar lights. New posts search forums. How do you get your live rock purple. The red purple coloration is from coraline algae and the brown and stuff is just detrius material from growing bacteria and other living organisms on the rock.

Not sure why the others won t turn. That was coraline algea and its turing white because you have a new tank setup without the right levels of calcium alkalinity and magnesium. Live rock live sand or a combination are used to control nitrates but live rock can turn white if nitrates are too high.
